We envision a society where women and youths are empowered economically, socially and mentally

The African Women Empowerment Guild (AWEG) is an all female Non-profit, Non-Government Organization. AWEG has been in existence since 1995 but was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Nigeria in 2002 and the Edo State Government in 1997. Her primary targets are women and youths.

AWEG consists of female professionals who work to increase awareness on the rights & potentials of women and youths for development and enhance their capacity to occupy visible space in governance & public life.

Updates & Publications

Here is the latest from our blog

RAISERS is an initiative of African Women Empowerment Guild (AWEG). It seeks to bridge the gap between the youth and his/her dream through mentorship. The central theme of this initiative is impact. Mentorship will be done individually and collectively in different fields.

We call this- potential meets knowledge and opportunity. However, this impact would not go free and the cost of this impact is impact.
